Has anyone used Bio-Sol for diahrrea in animals? I couldn't find Terramycin, so I bought Bio-sol. The lady at the feed store said she gives it to her goats and it clears up diahrrea fast. I got it to put a drop or so in my animals water bottles incase they ever get diahrrea.

I have used Bio Sol for my dogs but not for my chins, I actually reciently had a bad case of diahrrea from a food change in my chins and I gave them Timothy hay and Kaoepectate for children ( Cherry Flavor) It worked like a charm and no side effects. Kaoepectate has been used with most animals to clear diahrrea up quick, but when I took one of my dogs in for diahrrea she gave me Bio Sol to clear it up.

Well I'm sure it's safe for chins but I just have no idea how much to give. I am thinking just a couple drops in their water bottle. I always try alternate measure before resorting to heavy measures! LOL! I have never had to deal with a bad case of diahrrea. Some loose poo I have, but I just take away pellets, give them only timmy hay, and burnt toast. But if that don't work and I have to deal with a bad bout of diahrrea I have this Bio-sol, but how much should I give??

I am not sure Misty but I can call my vet after Thanksgiving and get the scoop on it and maybe she can tell me an average safe amount to administer to Chins. I can call her whenever I have a problem and she has seen all of my chins so she always has the right answers.

That would be great Jenny! Thanks! Unfortunately I can't talk to my vet like that.

I was gonna put it in their water bottles so it's diluted, so if you could ask how much to put in a 8oz water bottle. Or if she don't recommend that, how much to administer oralley.
