Anyone have any experience in this?
We have a large population of them at work..and a co-workers kid trapped about 20 tadpoles..
I took five home.
For now, feeding them some frozen omnivore fish food ..
I see they can take years to mature.

In captivity, bullfrog tadpole development can be surprisingly fast. Of course, depending on how long it has been since they hatched. Primary diet of most tadpoles is algae, which can be rather difficult to provide. Are you sure they're eating the fish food? It wouldn't surprise me if they weren't. Missouri Conservationist has a brief site on Raising Tadpoles (http://www.conservation.state.mo.us/conmag/1995/07/06.html). They need lots of water space so they aren't bumping into each other and stressing each other out, as well as a land area they can get out on when they finally do morph, but otherwise, can be kept pretty spartan. Feed often, they're growing little frogs and are absolutely voracious. =)

It is incredible how big they can get.
