Kei, no you shouldn't handfeed a baby unless there is a problem with the mother. It is important for the baby to have the comfort of its mother and get the nutrients from her that we can't provide by handfeeding. You actually don't use a bottle, you use a small medicine syringe or eyedropper. Chin Mom's rarely abandon their kits. Most of the time when you have to supplement it's because there is either a problem with milk production of the mother, the mother died during birth, the baby just isn't gaining weight and not nursing, or the mother had a large litter (3 or more) and you have to rotate babies out to nurse and/or handfeed. You shouldn't sell to you friend until the kit is at least 8 weeks old.

Yes I agree totally with Misty -

Dont hand feed the babies unless you HAVE to. It is very important that it gets the mom's nutrients. Also you cant garuntee that a chin will be just as sweet if it is hand fed. All chins have different temperments as they get older, so just because it lets you hand feed it young doesnt mean it will totally want held later.
Just play with the babies and give them plenty of attention and you'll have about the same outcome.

Anytime mom will feed the baby no matter what kind of animal it is better. The baby will be sweet if it lives with you honey. How could it not be?
