Ok guys, it's time for the new POTM contest for April! We are starting a bit early due to the down time we had between March with the new forum change etc.

This months theme is "Cutest Babies" !! This goes for ANY animal baby !!!...

Post your entries here...

Here are the rules:


Contest Starts Today (March 29th, 2003)
Entries No Longer Accepted After April 28th
Voting Starts April 29th-30th (ends at 8pm Central/Standard Time)
Winner Announced May 1st !!!
Keep In Mind that Winner Recieves Their Website Banner on EOTC for a full month, plus their animals picture for a full month featured on EOTC Home Page !!!

Gypsy, what kind of dog is that... looks like puppy mastiffs... I am probably wrong though... they are very pretty!

Fila Brasileiros are a Brazilian Mastiff that are used to hunt jaguars and poachers down in Brazil...somewhat of a flock guardian dog. They are a very rare breed, and have just recently become known in the US. The shoes, Filas were named after the dogs. :) The males can get to be 200 pounds, so they are a really large, powerful and extremely fast dog. The breed was concocted from the Molossos Mastiff, Bloodhound and Bulldog.

Wow thanks Gypsy, I think I saw one once at Petsmart. These people had two and they were FRIGGEN HUGE!!!!! They looked kinda like a cross between a tiger and a dog?? Does this sound like the same kind of dog? They kinda had tiger like stripes.

That would probably be them...like mine, those are the red brindle. :) They are HUGE and powerful. They also walk like cats rather than dogs---with a camel's gait, which gives it more of that cat look, the way they kind of rock when they walk... :) Highly protective and dedicated breed... Not recognized by the AKC--- in the international shows, the Fila is the only dog that the judge doesn't have to run his/her hands over since its perfectly acceptable for the dog to attack the judge. They don't like any strangers handling them. I've had Filas for 11 years now and I am seriously spoiled by the breed. I sleep with all my windows and doors open---just the screens locked. :)

Gosh.... they are all sooo cute!! How will I decide how to vote?! Guess I'll just have to vote for my own....
